Privacy policy
Last updated: 26 September 2026
At eSportics we care about protecting our users’ personal data. This policy explains what data we process, why, on what legal basis and what your rights are, under Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018 (LOPDGDD).
1. Data controller

- Tax ID (NIF): B67059592
- Address: C/ Cova Simanya, 35C, 08230 Matadepera (Barcelona), Spain

2. What data we process
- Contact forms: name, email address, your message and the language of the page.
- Sign-up and use of the platform (app.esportics.com, sports.esportics.com and esports.esportics.com): email address, password, first and last name, and the data you add to your tournaments, teams and profile.
- Browsing: technical data (IP address, browser, pages visited) needed to serve the website and protect it from abuse and —only if you accept— analytics and advertising data through cookies (see the Cookie policy).
3. Purposes and legal basis
- Answering your enquiries and requests for information or quotes. Legal basis: your request and your consent when you submit the form (Art. 6.1.a and 6.1.b GDPR).
- Providing the platform service (account, tournaments, registrations, payments and invoicing). Legal basis: performance of the contract (Art. 6.1.b) and compliance with legal obligations (Art. 6.1.c).
- Sending you service communications and news about products similar to the ones you already use. Legal basis: legitimate interest and Art. 21.2 of the Spanish LSSI. You can unsubscribe at any time from any email or by writing to us.
- Measuring how the website and our campaigns perform (Google Analytics, Google Ads). Legal basis: your consent (Art. 6.1.a), which you can withdraw at any time.
- Security and fraud/spam prevention (for example, Cloudflare Turnstile on forms). Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6.1.f).
4. Retention
We keep enquiries for as long as needed to handle them and for no more than two years after the last contact. Account data is kept while your account is active and afterwards for the statutory limitation periods (for example, six years for accounting and tax records). Analytics data is kept for a maximum of 14 months.
5. Recipients and processors
We do not sell or share your data with third parties, except where required by law. The following providers help us deliver the service and process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — website hosting and delivery, attack protection and Turnstile (anti-spam).
- Railway Corp. — hosting of the platform and of the service that receives form submissions.
- Neon, Inc. — the platform’s database (servers in the European Union).
- Sendinblue SAS (Brevo) — delivery of the platform’s automatic emails (account verification, password, registrations, notices).
- Functional Software, Inc. (Sentry) — logging of the platform’s technical errors, so we can detect and fix them.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — corporate email (Google Workspace), where we receive your messages.
- Google Ireland Ltd. — Google Analytics and Google Ads, only with your consent.
- Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd. — payment processing when you buy a plan or pay a registration fee. eSportics never sees or stores your card details.
Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area (mainly in the United States). In those cases the transfer relies on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.
6. Your rights
You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction of processing and portability, and withdraw your consent at any time, by writing to info@esportics.com and stating which right you want to exercise. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).
7. Minors
You must be at least 14 years old to sign up for eSportics. Children under 14 may only take part with the express authorisation of their parents or guardians. Organisers who register minors in a competition are responsible for obtaining that authorisation.
8. Security
We apply technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss, misuse, alteration, unauthorised access and theft of data, taking into account the state of the art and the risks involved. When you sign up you choose a password: you are responsible for keeping it secret and for telling us as soon as possible if you notice any unauthorised use of your account.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect legal or service changes. If the changes are significant, we will announce them on this page with reasonable notice.
